2021 Earthquake Relief (Grand Anse) 2021-2023
The August 14, 2021 earthquake that struck the southest part of Haiti, affected three pcH-established cooperatives representing approximately 2,500 members. The organization responded with temporary shelters, relief supplies and mobile clinics that met the medical needs of 2,741 patients plus the ability to perform 39 surgeries.
A second level response addresses a reconstruction strategy.

Mobile Clinic Extension
This is a one year mobile clinic extension program servicing five additional areas where FIDA/pcH has invested in cooperative formation. It is privately funded with intent to assess the capacity of the respective communities in terms of scaling up the concept of the Fon Batis pilot.

pcH Community Transformation 2020-2023
This is a three year project funded by World Renew (approx $42,000 USD) in the community of Goget in Grand Anse Department. The community initiatives are conducted by the KPG Cooperative focused largely on yam production and storage. The objectives of the project include training on seed treatment, storage techniques, etc for the purpose of improving crop production and yields.

Zoranger Agriculture
This is an 18 month project funded by Premier Equipment Ltd, a John Deere Dealership based in Elmira, Ontario. Located in the Zoranger area in the West Department the objective is to establish two seed producing nurseries of significant varieties that will contribute to the economic advancement of the cooperatives as well address reforestation. Varieties will include cedar, tamarind, soursop, avocado , papaya and mango and training in seed replication and grafting methods.
